(PHOENIX, AZ) The Arizona Natives, representing the Phoenix Indian Medical Center, captured the 2006 Native American Recognition Days (NARD) softball game on October 18, 2006. The Arizona Natives defeated the Arizona Professional Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AZPC of AISES), 20 to 7. By winning, the Arizona Natives won the NARD softball traveling trophy and the opportunity to host the 2007 NARD softball game. The game was played at the Lehi Community Center Field located on the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community.
(PHOENIX, AZ) The Arizona Professional Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AzPC of AISES) is proud to announce the awardees of its fifth annual scholarship program. These four (4) scholarship awardees received checks of $500 each. A total of $2,000 in scholarships was awarded this year by AzPC of AISES.

Membership Requirements:
- Reside in the State of Arizona
- Be a professional member of the National AISES organization
Application and applicable fees for AISES (National) may be downloaded from the AISES website at www.aises.org
AzPC membership dues are $10 per year and are due in January. Membership renewals are on a calendar year basis, January 1 through December 31. Membership application and dues payable to AzPC of AISES by check or money order may be submitted to the AzPC Treasurer or mailed to the AzPC address (included on the form).
Arizona Professional Chapter of AISES Awards $4,000 in Scholarships
(PHOENIX, AZ) The Arizona Professional Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AzPC of AISES) is proud to announce the awardees of its fourth annual scholarship program. Four university students were awarded $500 each, three university AISES student chapters were awarded $500 each, and two high school students were awarded $250 each. A total of $4,000 in scholarships was awarded this year by AzPC of AISES.
